A new site has launched called Spiral Frog, and it is allowing users to download music for free with one catch, advertisements are shown with your music download. They are boasting over a million songs in their download selection. This looks like it might be a good alternative to sites such as Napster and iTunes.

      Very interesting idea. It’ll be cool if artists would release certain songs that were free download without any ads on a completely seperate site - basically giving people a teaser and have them buy their album.

      It would be cool if they did that. Someday the music industry will realize that cd sales are declining and they need a way to drive sales better. And with Amazon releasing their music downloads without DRM, they’re going to have to do something drastic
